The other day, Menon Dwarka, Suzanne Thorpe and Miguel Frasconi came into the studio to talk about a couple events going on in New York City.  First up was Menon, who is the director of the Greenwich House Music School, a friendly little neighborhood organization thats been around for over 100 years.  We talked about the North Music River’s series which is kicking off it 25th anniversary season.

Also on the show, Suzanne Thorpe, who is one of the co-founder’s of the Electronic Music Foundation.  The EMF is about to launch into their 10th annual Ear to the Earth Festival, this year called “Water and the World”.

And Miguel Frasconi is a part of that festival.   In a portion called “New York Soundscapes”.  Miguel plays a “menagerie of glass objects” amongst other things.  Intrigued? Listen in.
